Pakistan Visa & Travel Requirements

Passport and Visa Overview

All foreign nationals require a valid visa to enter Pakistan, along with a **passport that must remain valid for at least six months** beyond the intended duration of stay. Pakistan has introduced an online visa system to facilitate convenient applications for various visa categories.

For tourism, you have three primary application options:

Tourist Visa On Arrival (e-Visa)

You can apply for Pakistan's On Arrival Visa if your country is listed below. We recommend applying **48-72 hours prior** to travel to receive the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).

Required Documents

  • Passport
  • Photograph
  • Invitation Letter by the sponsor or hotel booking details (individual tourist)
  • Invitation Letter by the Tour Operator (group tourist)

Validity & Processing

  • Validity: 30 Days (Single Entry)
  • Processing Time: 48-72 Working Hours (for ETA)
  • Special Case: Nationals of Malaysia, Turkey, and UAE may be granted a 30-day, multiple-entry visa upon arrival.

Application Steps (Online)

  1. Preliminary Assessment: Choose your visa type, understand requirements.
  2. Preparation: Gather supporting documents, photograph (up to 350KB), and valid credit/debit card.
  3. Online Application: Create an account, log in, complete application, pay fee, and submit.

NOTE: Please consult the official Pakistan Online Visa System for detailed step-by-step guides.
