Detailed Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Islamabad

Arrival in Islamabad.

Day 02

Islamabad to Skardu/Chilas

Fly to Skardu. In case of flight cancellation, drive to Chilas (12-14hrs drive).

Day 03

Chilas to Skardu

Day free at Skardu. If driving, complete road journey (07-08hrs) to Skardu (275km) en-route has good view of Nanga Parbat (8125m).

Day 04

Skardu

Briefing at Tourism Department.

Day 05

Skardu to Hushey (3000m)

Jeep drive to Hushey (5-6 hrs).

Day 06

Hushey to Shayescho (3300m)

4 hrs trek to Shayescho.

Day 07

Shayescho to Laila Peak Base Camp (4000m)

5-6 hrs trek to Laila Peak Base Camp.

Day 08-23

Acclimatization and Climbing

15 days for acclimatization and climbing.

Day 24-27

Trek back to Skardu

Trek back to Skardu following the same route.

Day 28

Skardu to Islamabad/Chilas

Fly to Islamabad. In case of flight cancellation, drive to Chilas.

Day 29

Islamabad

Leisure day in Islamabad. In case of driving, complete the road journey from Chilas to Islamabad.

Day 30

Fly Out

Transfer to the airport for the onward flight.

What's Included

  • Liaison with the Ministry of Tourism in Islamabad for the trekking permit process

  • Kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, fuel and related community gear
  • Wages and basic kit of English speaking guide, sardar, cook and assistant (s)
  • Insurance of our field staff and low altitude porters (except helicopter rescue)
  • Porterage at airports, hotels, toll taxes and parking fee etc
  • Mail handling/forwarding to BC/overseas except postage charges
  • Hiring of HAPs, mail runner (s) and any other crew as per requirement
  • Pollution and Environmental fee or any other fee required to be paid to the Government of Pakistan
  • A bottle of mineral water per person per day basis in cities

  • Trekking/climbing Permit fee
  • International & domestic airfare, airport tax, excess baggage charges
  • Surface transfers in case of flight cancellations to the kick-off point
  • High altitude porters/any crew above BC
  • Tents, sleeping bags, personal and climbing equipment of any kind beyond base camp including high altitude food and oxygen
  • Medications, ground evacuations and helicopter rescue charges of any kind
  • Room services, laundry, beverages, phone/communication bills and items of personal nature
  • Insurance liability of member (s) and other under force majeure conditions
  • Clearing agent charges
  • Any other service not mentioned in this condition sheet
